I am Sahana Lele, a senior at Evergreen Valley High School in San Jose, CA. I like reading and hanging out with my friends. I enjoy learning about environmental science because I believe you need to understand the world around you to improve it and make it a better place for everyone to live. In CitScan, I helped with writing out the paper, performance metrics, research about backgrounds and datasets used.

I am Victoria Yuqin Ma, a junior at The Harker School. I've always loved nature, going on hikes with my family and friends on the weekends in foothills around the Bay Area. I'm passionate about environmental science and ecology. As the founder of Naturator, I shared my knowledge of the research process and contributed to organizing the team, delegating tasks, and serving as a communication and collaboration hub for the team.

I am Sophia Chen, a senior from the Bay Area. I’m interested in different types of arts like drawing, video-editing and filmmaking, animation, and creative writing. Ecology caught my eye after taking a marine biology class in my junior year. Since I love animals, I quickly developed this passion and researched more about how different species in an ecosystem affect others, helping design the CitScan robot prototype.

I am Soomin Lee, an international student at Colombo International School in Sri Lanka. I'm passionate about biological sciences, and hope to go in the research field. My interest in ecology stems from my love in wild animals. I'm particularly interested in studying the sustainable balance and coexistence between human settlements and wildlife. My role in citscan was designing the robot using CAD software, and writing parts of the research paper.

I am Kimberly Vu, a sophomore at Fountain Valley High School. My main role in CitScan was research and writing. I reviewed scientific papers about the integration of AI into environmental innovation and helped build the model. I care about and love the environment! I love spending time with nature – to combat my laptop addiction – and also care about the well-being of others. There isn't much more to it. Other than my love for ecology, I love the guitar, competition math, science, and talking!

I am Andres Rodriguez, a senior at John W. North High School. Besides hanging out with friends, connecting with my culture, and playing all sorts of games, I’ve grown a passion for the natural world around us. Originally, I joined to know a bit more about animals and how they interact with nature, but I’ve learned so much more. Working with this team has me excited for what the future holds, and pumped to help the world be a better place now more than ever.
